Helen Lea (Hinkle) Watts was born October 25, 1936 at Harriet, AR and passed from this life into eternal rest on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Baxter Regional Health Heart in Mountain Home AR at the age of 84 years and three months. She was the daughter of the belatedly Chester and Mary Ellen (Sutterfield) Hinkle. Growing upwards, her family unit traveled to various states during harvest season to option vegetables and fruits.
Helen was a garment factory worker and seamstress until a back disability. She attended the Harriet Schoolhouse and Marshall High School through 1954. She was a Christian and loved working with summer Bible School sessions at the Stone Creek Customs Center and read her Bible daily. During her later years she fabricated regular telephone calls to friends, families, and neighbors to check on their wellness and well-being which she was often more concerned most than her own. Often she would tell her daughter to think to pray for one of them regarding their health or a need they had. She prepared food for many Ha-Roc-Co Fire Department fundraisers and served the department in other capacities. Goose egg pleased her more than than baking her famous coconut cream pie, chocolate rolls, fresh apple tree cake, honeybun cake and fried apple pies or making her dumplings and cole slaw and watching family unit, friends, and neighbors enjoy them! In her younger years, she loved line-fishing downwards on Big Creek and Buffalo River or stringing upwardly the trout at Blanchard Springs. Another favorite pastime of hers was crocheting afghans and stocking caps and giving them to neighborhood children, friends, and family or altruistic them to hospital nurseries. She loved nature and displayed rocks and driftwood nerveless on various fishing trips. Her light-green thumb was evidenced by her many houseplants throughout the years and beautiful blooms in her grand. She enjoyed sitting on her porch waving at neighbors passing past and watching the huge multifariousness of birds that she always insisted be fed. Without her special neighbors, Travis or Laura, to water her flowers and feed her birds, this would non have been possible.
Helen is preceded in death by her tardily husband of over 57 years Dennis, her parents, one sister, and grandson Kevin Dewayne Watts. She is survived by her iii children who she loved dearly: daughter, Cynthia Gail Bryant of Springfield, MO; two sons, Dewayne and wife Trish of Flippin and Greg and wife Beth of Harriet; brothers, Tommy Hinkle and wife Joyce of Huntsville, and Jimmy Hinkle of Huntsville; and brother-in-police force, Billie Joe Watts of Mount Home. She was known as "Granny" or "Ma" to her beloved grandchildren and slap-up-grandchildren including: grandsons Russell Horton and wife Kayla of Harriet, Lucas Bryant and wife Jill of Strafford, MO, Seth Bryant and wife Tiffanie of Koshkonong, MO, Kyston Watts and Rikki Blau, Kyler Watts, and Christian Watts all of Flippin and two granddaughters, Brendy Watts of Flippin and Brooke Sellers of Atlanta, GA. Her great grandchildren include, Saylor and Silver Horton of Harriet, Roxie Bryant of Koshkonong, MO, and Dawson Bryant of Strafford, MO, Tori and Kendall Sellers of Columbus, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Graveside services for Helen volition exist 2:00 PM Friday, January 29, 2021 at Rock Creek Cemetery in Harriet, Arkansas with Bro. Jerry Watts officiating. Honorary bearers will be Lucas Bryant, Seth Bryant, Kyston Watts, Christian Watts, Kyler Watts and Russell Horton. At the family's request memorial contributions may exist fabricated to St. Jude'due south Children's Enquiry Infirmary or Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Helen and her husband, Dennis, were such dear people to meet when we first moved here years agone. She was so sweet and caring of other folks. I loved sharing the bounty of our garden with her. I could not visit her recently due to the COVID pandemic, but called her oft. My married man & I will surely miss her kind wisdom! Prayers to the family!

Helen was like a mom, sister, and favorite aunt all rolled into one. Her kindness towards u.s.a. was limitless. We were and so blest to have this wonderful woman as our neighbor. She loved us and cared for us and nosotros loved her back with abandon. Helen knew everything nigh annihilation around here. Equally new neighbors, she was a wealth of information. She ever made us feel welcomed. This woman will be and so missed. We are very grateful nosotros had her in our lives.
